Two nights ago my husband and I’s heart broke when we sat down to watch this beautifully shot documentary (now on Canadian Netflix). Bringing to light the rising issue of abandoned babies in Seoul (and worldwide really), it follows the story of Pastor Lee and his wife’s work taking in (and taking care) of anonymously disabled and disowned newborns through their “baby box”. As a mother, it was impossible not to weep watching. For the mothers of the children, and the babies alike. Thank god for people like Pastor Lee, his wife, and the numerous volunteers saving these lives on a near daily basis. Angels on earth. I hope to one day be able to be as selfless as they both are. It is people like this who singlehandedly make a difference in the world.
May this man and his family share unlimited blessings, and inspire you to go beyond your comforts to enrich the world wholeheartedly in a way only your talents can.
